Multi generational F series....

Ok, here is the idea. What would be your ideal F series if you could have whatever combo you wanted. For example, my ideal F-150 would be the 96 body, 2004 frame and drive train with new 5.4, the interior of the 97-03, and the High Boy suspension.

Mine would be my exact 2001 F250 Super Duty but priced like my 1983 F250!

Multi generational F series....

1979 F-350 Ranger crewcab/longbed body, F-650 Cummins 5.9, ZF 6-speed, 1979 Dana 60/Dana 70 axles, NP205 T-case.

For a 1/2-ton, give me a 1980-86 stepside 2WD with the Lightning engine, & a T56 manual.

They already made mine.

94-96 F150 Lightning.

If it were to be something not yet made well mine would be a 1979 F150 4x4 9"/D44 3.25LS with a 5.4L 3V V8 ZF 5speed and an NP205.

Great combo! I love the 92-96 body. I also love the 97-03 interior (with auto climate control), and wouldn't mind the new 5.4 engine too. Come to think of it, I wouldn't mind having a 97-03 stepside bed married to a 92-96 cab and front end.

For a new truck it would have to be a 03 Harley Davidson Super Crew only not Black, but no changes except maybe performance upgrades.
Dream truck would be a 68 Merc. crew cab 4x4 short bed on a mid 90s F-350 running gear. Built 427 efi, 6 speed manual tranny with 205 t-case. And my 2wd would be a 57 short wide with 03 lightning running gear or maybe a 312 with 3 deuces and overdrive with updated chassis.
