A 41' 5th wheel is a big trailer for a SRW, it isn't just about load capacity a DRW truck will also be much more stable when towing a big high wind resistant load like that. You could probably get by with a SRW truck but a dually would handle it better and be much safer, and they aren't that bad to daily drive once you get used to them. The new F450s with the wide track front have a better turning radius than my F250 does.

Being a present F450 owner, my opinion is you'll be absolutely fine with an F350 SRW. If that's what you want, I'd get it. You may want air bags to level things out but other than that, it should do well.

Also, don't be worried if the rear end is a 3.55. My 2015 F350 SRW had the 3.55 and although I was concerned, it was a great set-up if you're getting the 6.7.
