Right hand convex mirror...
I have a 2001 SD with the standard mirrors. I dislike the right hand mirror with regular-view mirror. Did Ford make a right hand convex mirror for the standard mirror?

I also cannot see the ground towards the rear of the truck without moving the mirror down. My 89 CC has a full convex mirror and I love the view it gives. I don't like spot mirrors. I would prefer a full convex mirror.
I would consider the TTT mirrors, if the price was right. I do like the 03 signal mirrors!!

Standard????some trucks come with TT as standard and some with sport..
But I recommend that you upgrade to TTT mirrors and see everything that you are missing now...
I bought a couple pairs off ebaY at a great price.!
The install is easy took me 20 min. each.

I have the sport mirrors on mine. For being able to see the small cars on my right blind spot b4 I run over 'em, I bought a small convex stick-on mirror for about $3 at the auto store. This solves my problems and buys me some time whilst I decide if I want to keep this setup, or but some TTT mirrors later on to replace the sports.
I saw a white CC SD King Ranch yesterday with the white body color TTT's w/ the turn signal indicators in them.... now, that I might just have to have ;-)

boys.... you have no idea how wonderful a set of the trailer tow mirrors are..... mine came with the sport mirrors and i had BIG time blind spots..... i got the TTT mirrors and now have NONE!!! (even with my lifted rig).
they are a MUST have item!!

Right hand convex mirror...
I have an 00 with the standard "sport" mirrors. I too had that question about the convex mirror. In short, the solution is to find/get the right side mirror off of an X. Yes, cross dress to Excursion mirrors. That is, if you don't want the TTT mirrors.

Thanks for the replies. Any idea where I can obtain a right-hand mirror from an Excursion? Can I just get the convex glass portion, without buying the whole mirror assembly??

Check with your local Ford parts counter to see if they will have the mirror part alone. Iam afraid they do not sell that part alone. I had a jerk drive by and break my driver side mirror. I seem to remember when I call the parts guy, he said no glass alone. Must spend big bucks on whole new mirror. That is when i started looking on eBay for the mirrors. I think I was going to pay about 200 bux for a set of X mirrors with shipping. That was until FedEx decided to drop kick the mirrors about 13 times. Kinda like that scene in Ace Ventura: Pet Detective where he is delivering the package and slamming it all over the place. Anyway, I would start at eBay

Thanks Big. I got a quote from www.automirrors.net for about $24.00 + $8.00 shipping. I may see if could find one on eBay for that price, first.
