Vvt/vct

A friend here has one of them Tundra thingys with the i-force v8, he said it had variable valve timing. I thought this was something totally new. And that Ford pretty much the toe hold on the patent for it. What happened to Ford's VVT and VCT I heard they were supposed to be part of the 6.0L too, but that remains to be seen.

As to the value of VVT/VCT I don't know. I would think that the computer could accomplish the same effect with a richer mixture.

Vvt/vct

Variable valve timing has been around for quite a while. Honda uses it in there VTEC motors and has for years. It is nothing new
