Hey y'all, I just changed the spark plugs in my 2005 Escape over the weekend. I was just wondering if the ones I pulled out were the original Factory plugs? The plugs said FoMoCo on them. It did not say Motorcraft anywhere on them. I believe they said made in Japan? Are these the original Factory plugs? If so, my truck has a hundred seventeen thousand miles on it and believe it or not, they weren't gapped out real bad. They were still pretty close to the factory spec of 54 thousands of an inch. I was just wondering if these were the factory plugs? They seemed to be? Never saw any with FoMoCo on them. Thanks.

 

 

 

Thanks for the reply. That is very interesting. Wow 300k on the oem plugs! Your oem plugs say motorcraft on them. I wish I would have taken a picture of the plugs i took out of my escape. They said FoMoCo on them. Maybe they were replaced at some point?
