2016 Rear End

So I've been on a business trip for almost a week and while on this trip my wife calls and said that the Expy has a vibration while turning. Doesn't matter the speed, acceleration or deceleration, just always happens when she turns. My over the phone diagnosis was a CV joint since that's the only thing I could think of at the time. Got home today and drove it myself to try and figure it out. Well it's coming from the rear end. It's also got kind of a slight drone while its vibration. Only thing I can think of is the clutch pack in the rear end is sticking. There is no leak so it's got oil in the diff. Is there anything else it could be?

My 2004 Expy did this with only 800 miles on the clock and it was something to do with the limited slip axle.

Could simply need a shot of friction modifier.

I was thinking maybe it needed a gear oil change as well. Maybe just some friction modifier added. This should be covered under the powertrain warranty right?

Limited slip unit is probably chattering. Should be a warranty/courtesy thing. Probably does not need a lube change, just a slug of limited slip additive, but if you want to change to synthetic rear end lube this might be a good time (not sure if Ford uses full synthetic from the factory).

3.73 limited slip was standard on the EL and optional on the regular length Expy based on the 2017 brochure I looked at--probably same in 2016. (Standard is 3.15 or 3.31 NON-limited slip in the reg length, so they do specify.)

So apparently I was wrong. Dealership called and said the front hubs were shot. I dont know if I'm convinced of that because I didnt feel anything in the steering wheel. I guess we will find out tomorrow.
