Do the pucks interfere with the ball-mounted B&W somehow? Or did you just want to swap to a different hitch? I'm just curious.
It's not the pucks, it is the factory gooseneck ball. Factory has a round ball mount that secures from the top. B&W has the square tube that pins from underneath (that the companion tightens down on). If it were to just pull on the ball itself (like the Anderson) it would swap around just fine.

I didn't get into hitch discussion much with the dealer I was at as we have just started being serious about a move to 5th wheel from travel trailer. I have always thought b&w would be my preference but didn't realize I needed their goose hitch to attach to. I've also followed some discussion on the AUH and have thought it might be ok. But like to have my ducks in a row before making the jump on trailer. Part of thinking not going with a companion would be not spending the time and mommo for the and bed goose when I may change trucks in a couple years.
Anderson has issues with following the outdoor code of conduct.
look their recent legal issues up.
I’d avoid them.
I don't like what the guy did but I like the product. If I avoided every product because the company owner , exec or line staff person did some knucklehead stunt then I would walk everywhere naked and hungry.
