So I understand the squishy ride complaint, but the tires are only half the problem. The OEM shocks are not the greatest either, at least the FX4 shocks I had.

Have you inflated the tires to max pressure yet and did a test run? Not sure what your trailer weighs, but it might be worth a test run before dropping the cash.

Are those the "Defender"? There are two models of the Michelin 275/65R18 LTX Defender. One is 8-ply, and the other is 10-ply. According to the comparison I did at the tire shop, they are mostly identical. The E rated one has a little more load capacity, but the other one beats it in almost every measure. I just had them installed on my F-150 today. They ride real nice, and corner well too.

Yae I got the tires aired up to specs on door that's 40 psi I already put Fox 2.0 on the Rear so that's good
The Trailer has a Tongue weight of 600lbs and try Weight of Approx. 6,000 lb. Tires on it got 6ply with C Rating
On the Stock Goodyear Fortitudes.

I think so. The names on the two Michelin Defenders is almost exactly the same. The only difference was the "E" in the rating. This is all it says on the receipt:
27041 NRM 4 275 /65 R18 116T SL BSW - - - MCH DEFENDER LTX M/S
I'll go out and see if there is any additional information on the tires themselves. Pasted in from America's Tire. The non-E-rated tire is the one I got. Only $5 difference, but 70,000 mile rated versus 50,000 mile rated. Also better traction and a couple other things. They are "SL" load range instead of "E" load range. Still fairly hefty load at 2756 lbs per tire (5512 lbs per axle).

Nice... don’t know anything about the Defenders, but had LTX2’s on my F-350. Awesome tire. Go for it and be happy you’ve shed the horrible OEM tires.

All I can say is if you are planning to tow anything, very far - get rid of OEM tires. They are junk and a disappointment for most of us. I managed to get 25,000 miles out of them - worried all the way to that point after a sharp rock cut through one at 8,000 miles. First time I had to actually change a tire in years. We tow a boat, but it stays at the lake - only towing to a boat ramp. I replaced those tires with Goodyear Kevlar LT tires, C rated. Made almost no difference in MPG and seem to be good all-around, tough tires. And the truck drives much better with the stiffer sidewalls. The Kevlar lining gives me some confidence on the not good rock roads I drive all the time. This is 4x4 truck that sees regular 4x4 duty. The Michelins will probably last a lot longer, ride better on normal roads.

The OEM tires on my 2018 F-150 are Michelins. Primacy XC, I believe.

That't what came on my 2018 also. I had never even heard of that model before I picked up my new truck. I wonder how they compare to the Defender or the old MS2's for example.

I've had Michelin tires on the 4 previous F-150's. I had 73,500 mile on a 2018 Ford Fusion that had Michelin tires on it when I traded. My current 2018 F-150 Platinum has Hankook tires. They are ok but I will be replacing them with Michelin tires.
