hello,
I have a 92 RANGER 2.3L 2X4. After driving awile my abs light and Brake light come on. and only seems to come on in hot weather, the brakes are fine and adjusted properly. I checked codes (counted flashes) I get a code 4 I can't seem to find a manual that will walk me though the testing process. anyone out there have any info on this. I'm due for inspection real soon,and I know this will fail. thank in advance!

Thanks for the welcome! I'm not quite sure what you mean by the "sticky Above" The sensor your refering to is the speed sensor in the rear? I gonna go try removing and cleaning that sensor as someone else sugested on this site. two weeks and counting for inspestion....wish me luck!

Sorry about that! At the beginning of each page, are assorted "Sticky's" that everyone should check out. There's some great tech stuff and some overall general info.
I wasn't sure if the RABS sensor was serviceable, but you can always try.
If you can squeeze by for just that day, it would be nice, but good luck just the same.
I hope it's an inspection station like we have up here. Some with service can keep you there for days just coming up with stuff to keep you from ever driving away without spending at least $500.00!! Talk with you later...
