Thanks to Stu for hooking me up with some locking side ring style rims (Budd 48730). I got 5 of the Budd Wheels from Stu and a 6th one from a salvage yard nearby. I cleaned up all the wheels which were understandably rusty and now am painting them to mimic rust - crazy huh! Well, the F5 is only going to get a flat or satin clear and no paint, but I did want to protect the wheels. Once I get those newly-painted, rusty looking wheels and new tires on the truck, I can get it into my shop and continue working on it. The Flathead turns over nice, but I have a little more prep work before I can see how well (or not well) it runs.

You found another Budd 48730 at Doug’s, or at least one with the same rim and backset? That’s great. And that lets you use the Firestone RH wheel as a spare. Glad it all came together for you. Stu
