I am hoping this is the right place to ask. I just bought an 81 F100 with the 4.9 in it. I rebuilt the carb and got it running but came across something that has me puzzled. Everything from the Haynes manual, to the under hood label is telling me the dashpot settings. Herein lies the problem; there IS no dashpot! I am not sure if there is supposed to be one as I don't see any wires, hoses or the like for a connection. To be honest, I am not even sure the YFA is a stock carburetor for it but that is a whole other can of worms.

Does anyone here know anything about this?
