Just purchased a new to me 2006 6.0 coming from a 2005 5.4, and man what a difference, love the power. Finally needed to use 4WD, hit the switch, the AC went to defrost, and the hubs did not auto lock. I had to get out and remove the aftermarket cap, and could then manually lock them in. After chasing three or four vacuum leaks in my 2005 i decided just to head straight to the Warn 95060, as they were $250 ish on amazon for black.
I could never really find a definitive answer on the forums if the ESOF function remains the same, but I went ahead and got them anyway. After reading the instructions they are pretty clear that these are manual hubs only, and supply and few vacuum caps to block off your old lines. The install is super simple, a few bolts to remove the old one, and place the new unit in. There is a pretty good video on youtube if you need step by step instructions. Jacked the truck up, tested both wheels, worked just as they should, but again the ESOF vacuum function is gone. I don't mind getting out to lock the hubs in, but removing the center cap every time would get old to me. The black hubs look great with my black aftermarket wheels, so it was worth for looks also. Hopes this helps someone else that is thinking about switching over to Warn hubs as well.
Put them on my 2006 F350 probably five years ago. Easy to install. Still work nice and smooth. Is mainly just a plow truck, so I just leave them locked all winter.
