mine has started doing this also..but in the middle. I've just pushed it back down so far. I drive it so rarely these days it doesn't annoy me enough yet.
Just noticed this on my 2020 recently. As mentioned above I think interior temperatures with the windows up cause the adhesive to fail. I wonder what it's intended function is? sound deadening? aesthetics? loose stuff on dash deflector?
The one on my '22 is totally different than on my '17. My '17 had a squared off foam piece that only covered the middle. My '22 has a rubber round piece that extends all the way to the edges.

looking at Ford parts, it looks like the part number is the same (at least what I can see)
my gasket has a rounded edge, and the other 2 edges are square. kind of like a 1/4 round

OK so mine was a little high on the ends and wavy in the middle so I thought I'd "fix" it by giving it a poke or two with a finger.
Hosed it up even worse. Pulled up the end all the way to the mess I had made and used the short edge of a checkbook (it was handy) to position the seal back in place a little at a time.
And then vowed to never screw with it again. Never noticed it until I read this thread. Now I will go back to ignoring it.
2018 would not stay in place. Figured it was used in the assembly line. if it moves as much as mine did, what purpose would it serve. Trashed mine awhile back. Nothing notable changed.
mine has bothered me from the day I brought the truck home. it has a little knick on it. it also is all wavy.
it seems like it would be nearly impossible to replace it and have it look good, unless the windshield was out and it could be nicely stuck to the edge of the dash.
the gasket is only about $15 from the dealer
I don't think the basic problem can be "solved" -- and I believe that problem is expansion and contraction of the windshield glass vs the plastic dash, which occur at different rates. This creates a back and forth walking which makes the gasket work loose and look wavy. Since the heat-cool expansion-contraction cycles can't be prevented then the gasket is going to work loose. Every time.
So far, this is the biggest problem with my particular truck. That's pretty good, I think. Maybe at 35,999 miles I'll have the dealer look at it.
