Quick thrust bearing question.
Hey guys,
Maybe im second guessing myself, but when installing the 3 piece thrust bearings into the block and caps, how did it feel after the bearings were installed. I have everything torqued down but the thrust bearing that is on the lower bearing cap has a tiny bit of side to side movement basicially it cam move counter and clockwise a bit. The bearing has a tang on the bottom of it that lines up with an indentation in the cap designed to hold it in place but im having a brain fart and cant remember if its supossed to have a bit of a wiggle or not. Its been a few years since ive installed some. Its on an 03 5.4 dohc.
Thanks guys
Andy
