I was having a garage sale today and an older gentleman stopped by to see if I wanted to buy his trucks, because I have a yard full of ford's.
I went down and looked at it. It has been sitting for years, box is pretty rusty and the hood and roof are really faded and rusty.
It is an XLT Lariat Explorer 2X4. He bought it from the original owner. It has 140,000 kms. 351 HO. Has Cruise, tilt, power windows and locks, tack and full gauge package, retractable light under the hood, roof lights, air conditioning which works well. Small crack in the dash from sitting in the sun. Everything is intact under the hood like it was new. The seat is in amazing shape as it was always covered.... covered in hay right now. Ha.
I have never seen this trim on these trucks, was it very popular?
I can't even remember what rims it had, I was too busy looking at the interior. I have owned lots of these trucks, but have never seen one this well optioned. Too bad I can't pick it up until Friday. It's a light blue color. Have to get a Marti on it I guess.
