Speedometer and odometer not working

Hi guys, I have a 93 f 250 7.3 na 5 speed 4x4. I bought the truck from a kid who had done some work to it but needed money for school. When I got the truck it was not drivable. Finally got it on the road yesterday and noticed the speedometer and odometer weren't working. The odometer shows miles but doesn't add any while driving. I also replaced the vss this morning thinking that was the problem but it didn't change anything. ABS light is also on. Where do I go from here? Any suggestions will be appreciated . Thank you .

Since both those systems originate at the rear axle sensor I'd suspect a wiring harness problem(chewed wires) somewhere between the rear axle and dash.

When I replaced the vss I ohmed the wire harness at the plug an it showed .6 ohms . Wouldn't that mean that the wiring is good?

I would thinkthat would mean it's shorted-
that's way too much of a load for an inductive sensor.
try metering each side of the plug to ground.

Was the plug plugged or not plugged to the VSS or PSOM or RABS?
The resistance of the VSS is about 1400 OHMS unplugged.

The wiring input to the PSOM is below and I would think the RABS module would be about the same.

Thanks for the responses. That "test" was at the plug at the rear axle with the vss unplugged.

Update! It's working. Turns out the plug for the vss is loose. Wiggled it a bit and all is well. Just have to get a new connector now.
