As the title states, I'm not sure if it's the turbo or maybe a belt slipping just a little bit, but it's almost like a momentary whistle of the turbo. I'm just wondering if it's normal with these trucks. It happens if I do a quick rev in park, or if I really step on her from low rpms
Well that's sort of a personal question. Sometimes I have premature squeakulation but I've mostly got that under control. I'd say it's 50-50 on during and after. (apologies OP - I couldn't resist)

I'll try and snap a video of it when I get home in an hour. It's a wierd one for sure.
I never hear anything from this truck, its honestly one of my biggest complaints. My '03 6.0L had a 4" straight pipe from the turbo, it sounded like a Jet Powered V8....this truck is so damn quiet I feel like I'm driving a whale shark sized prius.

I'm with you there big time. I came from my deleted 6.4L with a 4" as well. "Sounds like a jet plane, pulls like a freight train".
I would do anything to be able to make this truck a little louder and still be under warranty, but I'm not seeing that as a viable option. I don't think the intakes do much either.

Also a former '03 6.0 owner with a turbo back straight pipe (owned for 14 years). And after 17k miles on my '17, I don't miss the F-18 one bit. Now I can hear the radio, carry on a conversation, take a phone call (hands free of course), not have to yell to be heard, and don't have people staring or kids on the side of the road running in fear. When I was younger, I loved driving a jet turbine around the street. Now, the quiet and extremely powerful 6.7 is fantastic. Kind of like switching from Keystone Ice and Bud light to small batch cask strength whiskey. Smooth.
