I trimed as much as my Bocshe saber saw would allow. I think it's foot spaced me out to where there's only 2 " left. I only wanted enough left to cover the bumpers holey metal lip.

Although I'm considering just chopping the bumper lip off.

The 1st time you do some Ford Commercial kinda stuff, those Prius guards get ripped off anyways. If you're worried about liability: Chop the Prius guards until they're just a little sliver of a metal washer and bolt them on. So it looks like they got ripped off from normal off road use.

I'm thinking that the only reason they put a longer valance on the 4WD's is because of the Prius catchers. They are like a wind scoop. Can't be good for gas mileage if they weren't covered to divert air flow around them.
