Should they light up ???
Should the on/off, steering wheel mounted, cruise control buttons on a '00 Explorer Sport light up ? All the rest of the switches do, including window & door lock ones, but not the on/off ones ?!
If so, any idea why they don't or what to do to get them to work ?

Yup. They're suppose to light up. That only applies to '95-'01 models. You can just replace the bulbs but good luck finding it because Ford only sell it with the assembly.
