Love the truck. I gotta change the plugs and no one seems to want to do it because they are pain. I have looked up how to from here and I may just do it myself, may be lol.
Anyways, I screwed up. I was adding oil on the truck and forgot to put the oil cap back on, I know I know but wait because it gets better, then I drove the truck. I realized what happened, put the cap back on and now what?

What do you mean by, "now what?" Are there drivability issues or is the CEL on?
My bad man, I’ve shouldve elaborated more on my question.
i know the truck lost pressure, when I realized the mistake I put the cap back on, waiting for the engine to cool down then checked the oil. Put some because it was low.
Since I’m having issues with the lower gears. The issues I’ve always had have been the high gears and because the plugs need change. I’m pretty sure another plug went bad. Next week the truck will go in the shop. But for now I want to make sure that it is that and not something else.
Also I couldn’t find a clear answer as to what to do when you do that (forget to put the cap back on)
other than putting back on and checking the oil I haven’t done anything else.
is the something I should look for, check for?
im mechanically incline but don’t have the technical knowledge of a mechanic.
Driving with the cap off can throw the O2 sensor reading way out and also turn on the CEL, that's all worst case scenario. If you put the cap on and it drives good and the CEL is off then there's nothing to worry about.
It even has a baffle inside to prevent oil from shooting out of the oil fill so chances are nothing really happened. Now once I drove my '65 Mustang after putting in coolant and leaving the radiator cap off. When I got on the interstate, suddenly it began to choke out. I pulled over and raised the hood to see quite a mess - it didn't run hot but the coolant flew back over the engine and soaked the air filter in the open-face assembly I had put on. Fortunately the radiator cap was still where I left it in a little hollow. I removed the air filter, put the radiator cap on and was able to drive away. I fixed everything a little while later that day by topping off the coolant, replacing the air filter and washing the engine compartment.
