okay so I have a 2000 ex with 4x4 v10. I bought "x-codes" from sdtrucks.com. I just recived my last package to day to start the install. the package came with new u-bolts, and all hardware. my question is, the package also contained two brackets that look like they might be spring hangars but I'm not sure. there is no parts list or instructions so I'm coming to you all for your thoughts.
my hand for scale
side note, I'm on 33x12.5r18 right now and I am in need of new rubber. after the x codes could I run 35's without any more lift in the back? I do rub in the front at full lock and if I hit a bump at the wrong time. however I am swapping these springs partly because my current ones are upside down. with the expected lift due to new springs would I run into any trouble with the larger tires? I am using f250 bilstiens to match the new springs and will be putting bilstiens in the rear when my wallet allows it.
Those are the exact rear shackles that are already on the front springs, I bolted the shackles to the frame first then worked the spring in place with one hand and pinned the bolt through the shackle and spring eye with the other then got the front bolt next.
You gotta make sure you only use floor jacks and hand tools to swap out the springs! Come on, all the cool kids are doing it, you know you want to be a part of that club.

I second that. Remember to get some ratchet straps for when you have fun trying to maneuver it all back into place....oh wait a sec...you just need to find out first lol
Seriously though, remember you can't have enough jack stands if you do this. No point in dying.
