engine die when you turn on headlghts then nothing ...have to pull battery cable to reset
what is the cause of this

What vehicle is it on? Year make and model, engine would also help

This is on a 2000 Ford F250 Super Duty......found out yesterday that i can pull a battery cable and it resets then can start it , but if you turn on headlights it will kill the motor.....i am thinking light switch at this time

Possibly, also check all your grounds in the engine compartment

Sounds like a grounding issue to me. I would check all engine grounds and lighting grounds. Then change out the switch.

checked out all grounds ..what looked questionable , cleaned so far no help Light switch good , ignition switch good ....anybody got any idea's why turning on any accesseries on in the cab kills the motor and everything in the cab ( 2000 Ford F250 )
