Gt40p headers

Hi going to be upgrading my engine going to put gt40p heads on my 351w
so has anyone done this swap?
if so what headers will work in a 1985 ford f250 2wd?
would like long not shortys

any help will be greatly appreciated!!!!!

I do not know what brand of headers would fit the heads, but long tubes do not fit very well no matter what heads you have. I never liked where they exited at the bottom. They are too low and in the way of the tranny pan.

Ok thanks!!!!for that input may have to look into shorty headers then darn definitely dont want to use longs if they are going to be a pain with the tranny

I swapped the explorer 302 with the GT40P, I reused the stock manifolds and I'm happy with my results. I had to have a custom y-pipe made due to the exit points on the manifolds though.
