I'm in the process to replace my 239 y-block with the rebuilt 272. Can someone tell my, what size are those two screws circled in the picture?
Thanks in advan

I was sure it would be You who replied first or so I hoped Thanks!
The new engine is for my truck ('56 F100) and it's a 272 bored over to a 292. But since I have another carb running on that engine then before on the 239, I have to change the whole throttle linkage assembly:
setup at the 239
new setup required on the 272 see circle
Right now, I'm planning to use the assembly which is installed on the 239 and make it fit to the 272 but therefore I need that two screws to mount it on the new engine.
So I just need the dimension of those screws.

I've dug a bit deeper into that matter. It seems I'll need a whole new assembly. The old one from the 239 wont fit (the rods are different, especially the one that goes down to the kick-down lever at the fordomatic). It seems, the assembly I need would be from a 1959 or 1960 F100 with 292 y-block and fordomatic. I think, in the first step I'll mount a simple linkage just to get the truck running and disable the kick-down lever at the trannie for the time beeing. In the second step I'll look for a final solution to get the whole assembly running including the kick-down. Maybe someone can spare such a linkage assembly.
