What is the general consensus on mileage between changing it out? Every other oil change/every 20k miles or what? First Ford--ever, but not first diesel. Thanks in advance
I believe 15K is the recommended interval. I did mine at around 12.5K because I had the filters and the tank level was fairly low. Super easy, drained the separator and changed the lower filter then moved up and did the engine filter. I had zero mess and no issues. Primed the new ones and she fired right up.

There are several examples of Severe Duty (off road, sandy/dusty conditions, high speed at GVWR, idling a lot, frequent towing) that reference 15k miles - but nothing less.
Normal duty is 30k miles.
