Low RPM's on start question

Low RPM's on start question
My new 460 only goes to about 1K instantly on a cold start. After about 5 seconds it goes to normal idle 650 or so. I'm new to the 460 but it doesn't seem right to me. If not, what should I check for this? Code reader is clear. Also dummy oil gauge goes immediately to first letter and stays there. Just changed oil and filter and same on the gauge. When the key is off needle goes down. ?? Thanks Sandy
