Wiper conundrum

The switch

From the motor
I have a 66 f100 that I bought that was missing some pieces, one of which was the wiper motor and bracket. I found one on eBay that was supposed to be from a 66 f350 and it fits. The only problem is that the connector on it doesn’t match the wiper switch in my dashboard. Can anyone help?

The connector is of the type on the two-speed wiper motors. The switch is the type for the single speed wiper motor.

I'd believe you just need a switch for the two-speed wipers. A neat way to go if you want delay wipers also is to get the switch and governor from a later model Ford truck. Here's an example.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Delay-Wiper...daCOVf&vxp=mtr

The black box is the governor, the loose wire is the ground. Your new wiper motor female connector plugs into the black male connector of the switch. The shaft would need a slight trim and an original **** and it's hard to tell from an original install.

The wiper switch to wiper motor wiring connector is 5 (female) of the 7 total male connectors on the switch. 6th one is power from the ignition switch TO the wiper switch and the 7th one powers the wiper motor pump for the windshield squirters.

Your wiper motor from the 66 F350 is the two speed motor so you'll want a two speed switch to go along with it. The connector from the motor isn't going to connect to a single speed switch.

Using the entire system off a later model Ford and the firewall bracket that you have (I suspect you have the right motor as well). You just need the later governor and switch. This is a plug and play up grade. Saw off a bit of the new switch and install a 66 button with set screw retainer (Carpenter has this). You will have a intermittent delay and two speed system that is not detectable until you turn the wipers on. Look on ebay for the complete system (switch, governor). Plug and play.
