Well guys, I'm really kinda boring when it comes to my truck motor. I have the 4.2 w/ 103,000 miles on it (2000 model). The engine is bone stock, except for adding a MelloTone single in / dual out muffler on it. Oh yes, included with that are pipes out the rear with the chrome tips.
I am very happy with my truck and while it isn't a Hot Rod, it isn't anemic either. Serves me just fine as a matter of fact.
Anyways, I've never really put a lot of thought or effort into making it quicker or faster. I am very fortunate to have several motorcycles, and I get all the quick and fast I need from them. Also, the wife has a Lexus that is quite spirited. So, I take my truck for what it is: a darned good truck with a V6.
BUT.....I gotta give you guys credit! While I'd never spend the kind of time and money some of you guys do to bump your performance up 2 or 3 notches, I get a kick out reading your posts. They make for some good reading!

Keep up the good work!
Also, the 4.2 forum tends to stay on a fairly even keel for the most part. Thanks for that. The posts tend to be civil and clean and that makes it better for all.

Again, keep up the "modifying". I enjoy watching you guys spend your money!
