Help 79 f250 won’t stay running

so when I start my truck up in the morning it runs for a good minute but then when it’s warmed up it dies. Any ideas what it is?

Not to be a wise guy but fuel, spark & air. Which one quits when it dies. Is it a stock engine 351M or 400 were the engine options for 79.

No it’s stock 460 the towing option for the year and yes I know the three. There’s spark and I think I was able to diagnose it to a fuel issue. There may be a jet or port that is clogged starving the engine. Going to pull the carb off again and re clean it. A little more in depth

If it has a mechanical fuel pump hook a vacuum gauge between the tank & pump You should have vacuum to pull gas to the pump. Then check Fuel pressure between pump & carb. Try dumping some SeaFoam or the Super Tech (Walmart Brand cleaner that is the Seafoam at Walmart Price about $2 cheaper than name brand.)

That is great you found the issue.
Do you have an aftermarket Electric pump external or is it in tank?
I have had more issues with FORD in tank ELECTRIC PUMPS than all others.
I have found DELPHI electric pumps are the best.
