As far as front seats what are you looking for and what do you want to spend? What tools do you have and how handy are you ad fabrication?
On my '88 e250 the top seat part simply bolts to the swivel base. So this means I could make some kind of an adapter plate for the top portion of another seat. Also, on mine the seats just bolt to the floor. So if I purchased seats that didn't match the bolt pattern I could pretty easily buy some metal stock and make an adapter plate.
If you are going to make an adapter plate, just make sure you make it heavy duty enough. You don;t want the seats ripping out of the floor if there is a collision.

The drivers seat needs new cushion and upholstery, and it doesn’t have a passengers seat. I’m fairly handy but don’t have a welder, but if it’s not too difficult I’m sure I could find a fabrication shop to build a adapter. What seats are commonly used for swaps? I’m looking for a dencent set of seats but don’t want to pay a fortune, it’s going to be a weekend rig, so comfort needs to be adequate but not outstanding
