It's almost ready for me to take for my roadtrip -- the badges are the only ones on the vehicle! They will be grey/yellow when done. The steering wheel with have a grey/yellow cover on it. Sad that the headlights I ordered don't work - so we have to put the old ones in for now.
Yes they were well made. We are going to paint them grey and yellow so the powerstroke will be yellow - there is a green color in them now. but they are super cool.
The outside all done!!!!
I will get the interior photos tomorrow. There are still a couple of things that need done - like a 6" lift but that isn't happening yet.
My thoughts exactly when I saw the first few pictures. But in the latter ones where its finished out with the black body cladding, it looks pretty damn good.
I'm in a quandary with my Ex. It's white, all white since I pulled the tan body cladding, and much like the yellow, Brother, it's a whole lot of white. To top it off, I really don't care for white vehicles.
So, I'm thinking, Zebra Stripes! I'm planning to do the rockers and roof in black bed liner. Seriously considering doing zebra stripes on the rest of it. Hey, if you're gonna stick out from the crown, you may as well stick WAY out.
BTW JaySVX The picture in your tag line cracks me up. Exactly the way I feel working on my Ex.
I LOVE the zebra stripe idea!!!!! I thought about it - but figured my husband would flip out! I've seen some cool vehicles in zebra stripes - go for it! And that was my thought with the yellow - go BIG or go home! It is definitely noticeable that's for sure.
