Group Discount: Custom Badges

EDIT: 12/13/15

Hey FTE Folks!

The Triton Badges are ready to be shipped from www.truckemblemwarehouse.com

If you order by Saturday 12/19/15 with the discount code, the $6.99 discount will be applied.

PM's are being sent to those who expressed interest here. If you didn't get a PM by the morning of 12/14/15, I've somehow missed you. Please accept my apologies and PM me for the discount code.

-------------------

Hey FTE Folks!

Some of you may have seen the Excursion Power Stroke badges made by Truck Emblem Warehouse a few months ago. After first seeing them I immediately reached out to Blake about making custom badges for those of us with gas rigs.

He has made up about 40 pairs of the 5.4L Triton V8 in Chrome and another 40 pairs in Black. He has the same 40 pairs in Chrome and in Black for the 6.8L Triton V10.

These badges are usually priced at $46.99 a pair. Blake is willing to give us a discount code if we can get at least 40 orders between FTE and the Excursion Club Facebook Group he and I belong too. The final cost will be $40.00 a pair (shipped) with the discount.

If you'd like a pair please post here or PM me so that I can get a count. Once we get 40 buyers I'll have the discount code to share. The badges will be shipped USPS 1 to 3 day Priority Mail. Meaning, if we get the order in at the end of this week we should be able to get these in our hands by Christmas!

Hey agsmv1,

This discount was specifically offered for the Triton badges he made. Let me talk to Blake and see if we can apply the discount to the 7.3 badge too.

I got some 7.3 badges a few weeks ago, and I put them on my truck. I love the badges (I got the black one in the photo above), and the tape sticks to the door VERY well. However, the tape is starting to let go at the top on the badge side of the tape. On my passenger side, I had to remove and reapply the badge with some 3M auto trim tape, because the tape had released the badge almost 1/3 of the way down. I had a hell of a time getting the tape off the door, though! Maybe you could mention this to him, Chad?

I think the wind that was deflected from how far those wheels/tires stick out created a vortex that caused the emblem to come unglued!

This is super tempting...

I notice my Ex looks a little naked on the badge side of things. Anyone think a black badge on a black Ex would look too black?

Do they come in a slightly darker black?

Hey Drunken_Unicorn,

Here are a couple pictures. The first is the finished product in chrome and in black. The second is another badge Blake made on a black truck. I like the look.

If the black ones are not dark enough, maybe you could PlastiDip them or buy the Chrome and then PlastiDip them another color (black or whatever) if you don't like the chrome look on your rig?
