Aerostar 4.0L Spark Plug, Plug Wires & Coil Pack Replacement

Repair:
BIG SHOUT OUT
to Jose A. for this thread regarding spark plug replacement for the 4.0L Aerostar, I followed it very closely.
I have some suggestions for those who are embarking on this:
1) The passenger side plugs (from front to back: Cylinders 1, 2 & 3) are more easily removed by using a 1" extension (still accessing them via Jose A's methods).
2) All the driver side plugs (from front to back: Cylinders 4, 5 & 6) can be removed by accessing through the hood using a 5" extension and a swivel head ratchet.

I still took the tires off the front which helped out when I was routing the plug wires and connecting them to the spark plugs.
Regarding the coil pack:
Passenger side connections from front to back are cylinders 1, 2 and 3
Driver side connections from front to back are cylinders 5, 6 and 4

Backstory:
A few days ago I drove my van into work like any other day, no problems.
After work, immediately after starting my car there was obviously some issue.
The engine was shaking at idle and once I got on the road it turned into a violent shake at low RPMs, improving slightly at high RPMs and while coasting.
I had the code read at AutoZone and it came up with "Miss Fire: cylinders 2 and 4" (sorry I didn't get the actual code number).
Problem solved with new plugs, wires and coil pack (plugs looked ok and wires looked ok, my hunch is the coil pack was bad)

Ross, Thanks, I had not seen your post.

Yes, the 4.0 starts to miss badly when it wants new plugs, it eats them like chocolate. I think I have to replace mine every 8 months or less anticipating they're going to go when least needed.

I will try your suggestions next time. I also keep a spare coil pack but the factory one is still good. It's the spark plugs that just don't last in the 4.0 engine.
