light on dashboard
i have an 89 bronco II. it is a v-6 with 4 wheel drive and auto. transmission. bought it used and have no owner's manual. next to the 4 wheel drive engage buttons a small light comes on with words that i cannot read. it barely lights and you can only see some of the letters. can anyone tell me what this light says and if you can turn it on and off somehow. thank you....pete

The only light next to the 4x4 bottons on a 89 are the lights that tell you have engaged the 4x4 system at least on my 89 ranger thats all.If the red light is on then the 4x4 is engaged.
