We watched it on the news and then got updates from the online paper.
Got 2 done, one I have the bucket cylinder off and working on the 3rd. It might be done today but not holding my breath because there is a lot to do on this one.
I almost got 3 machines done yesterday. I rolled the bucket to do some work and one of the linkage pins was broken in half and it came part way out. So that pretty much put an end to getting that one finished. I am still smoking it on time too so no worries there. Fingers crossed!!
It makes sense to keep you on the floor. You get stuff out the door. Today is work on Mazda. Going to finish the fender and start on pulling the tranny clutch kit and rear main ordered
TGIF!!
I am putting a medium pressure line kit on a new 320E and the machine is so compact you can only use hand tools and my hands hurt so bad. First thing in the master install booklet says is to drain and remove the hydraulic and fuel tanks. I had to drain and loosen the hydraulic tank but I was able to move it out of the way enough so it did not have to come completely out. I hope to have that machine finished up today and I will be so glad.
Well at least you close on Monday, that’s great news!,
I finished installing the line and valve kit on the 320 today and no leaks! Monday I have to install some belly pans and flow test it and I will be done with that one. It’s going to the weld shop for catwalks and then back to me for a thumb kit when it comes in.
My pushmower is is acting up so I need ro look at it and I want to look into the fuel supply issue on the 79 . Going to take it easy this weekend, I am tired.

Hi all, just joined here in Decatur. I'm way more experienced with buildings than vehicles, but I got a '93 f350 dually (gas not diesel) as partial payment for a bathroom remodel about 2 years ago. This year is the first year it doesn't require emissions for Atlanta, so I got it up-to-date registration wise, and replaced its fluids today, to make it down the road about 6 miles before coolant started sputtering everywhere overheated. The truck seems to have it's own honey-do list of issues big and small, but since it doesn't nag me about it, I'm looking forward to spending my weekends tinkering and learning. Just putting myself out here and hoping someone's close enough to stop by sometime for some beer and pointers. Good to meet all of you!
Welcome to the forum Josef!
There are a bunch of very knowledgeable people that can help you out with answers. My 79 has a long list of stuff I need to look at but I get side tracked easily. After working on CAT equipment all week I really have no motivation left to work on stuff on the weekend unless I really have too.
Welcome I am down in Thomaston south of Griffin. My 90 is down for a transmission . If I can find a ZF5 cheap going to do the auto to manual swap . I 100% Disabled vet. I have too many projects. Designing our last house, clearing our 8 acres, the 250, a Mazda 2600, build a golf cart, two generators to repair, and doing work on this house.
chief and I both stay busy. But will8ng to help whrn I can
I have too many projects too!!
My wife bought me 3 bags of top soil and I filled in a low spot in the front yard this morning and reseeded so hopefully it will grow and fill in the bare spot. Already cleaned the pool too and the water temp is perfect! Me and little man might have to go swimming this afternoon!! My wife wants me add a fan to her turkey pen because they get too hot and lay in the water dish. I have an old box fan I am going to rig out there for her to make her happy. Happy wife, happy life!
Our pool isn't open yet. I got a big bin out of the storage and some old paint roller pans and 3" tubing. I had to buy some fittings and shower drains, but I feel like my 3 year old now has something out of Dr Suess to play with rather than a standard kiddy pool. He seems to enjoy it, and he helped. We planted late this year and I doubt we'll get much out of the garden except to let the little one see how things grow. Maybe some tomatoes, since they seem to handle the summer heat as long as you water them profusely.
My big project is actually redoing our master bath... but I was hoping to have a truck that can make it to the lumber yard, etc.
Sounds like you are as busy as we are. I got in the pool today and it was a lot colder than I thought it was. I did tighten the screws on the bottom drain so hopefully I have stopped the slow loss of water. My little man started screaming cold, cold and did not want to stay in.
I worked on the land all day. Foundp a vien of rock I think shale right where the driveway is going to be. It will be repourposed in to fireplace surround. My pool went away along time ago, just need dirt to finish filling it in
