So my truck has 122k on it. I was driving with the AC on and the blower fan stopped suddenly. After changing out the fan and the resistor with no luck, I traced it to fuse # 28 (EATC module/Front blower relay coil). I replaced the fuse and low and behold, it's working now. Then I switched it to Max AC... it worked for a second then the vents went to the defroster just before the fuse blew again.
So during the repairs, I noticed the vacuum pump was constantly running. I pulled the vac line and put my finger over it... it never stopped running. I ordered a new pump which will be here in a few days. My question is, why is that fuse blowing? I could not find any frayed wires and the system works fine on regular AC. Thanks in advance for the help.
