Good Morning Everybody!
RC. I thought you weren't going to buy any more projects?!
I might be daily driverless if this guy comes through on the trade. I'll know this weekend. I'm supposed to be trading Alice for a Freightliner single axle, day cab tractor. THAT should pull my trailer decently. I guess we'll see, though. I'm done counting on people and then being disappointed. I'm going to concentrate on getting the truck ready to perform, then I'll worry about the hauler next week. I have a couple back up plans to get the truck up to Pacific if everything else falls through.

dont worry alan we will help you get it there... i think i have a pindle hitch at the yard.. a little welding and a stout clutch leg could get the bus there....
i didnt get anything important done today.. my helpers never showed up.. i may have to give up on them, unless they have a real good excuse

Evening All!
RC. You cut the pieces and fit them, I'll weld it up.
I got new front shocks on Alice today. I thought the old ones were bad. It turns out the trucks are doing a number on Hwy 14 between Sparta and Ozark. It still bounced and vibrated with the new shocks, so after going to Nixa to help Bob load a few things, I realized it was the road, not my truck. ...oh well, at least it has new shocks now. I may try to tackle the pinion seal next.
I got the grass cut push mowed and trimmed, but I am WIPED. OUT!

I drove ol blue to work then town for an errand, no issues. On the way home after work it decided to pop a leak at the water pump/heater hose line (right at the clamp on the water pump) and sprayed antifreeze all over the motor. I got lucky with a road side repair, and double lucky that a buddy stopped with a big container of water on his truck. Topped it off and back on the road to the house.
Moral of the story...when stuff sets it get dry rotted/weather checked, so check your lines and hoses on them rides with some age on them. Then again I might of been gouging on ol blue a bit on the way home too.
