engine miss under acceleration, under load
Hello,
I have a 2007 Expedition and sometimes I get a miss. Usually, while it's warmed up and driving up a hill under power of towing a trailer. I thought it might be a transmission problem, but my trans guy could not find any problems and didn't pull any codes.
Could it be an engine miss? Maybe a coil pack?
There are NO CE lights. It only happens once in a while, and not all the time.
please offer any insights...
Thanks,
Bo

I have a similar issue in my 2010 Expy that I have noticed since around 110k. My truck now has 175k on the clock. It is my wife's daily driver and she doesn't get into at all like I do - but only occasionally- so it hasn't been an issue for us. I replace the plugs 20,000 miles ago. Still have the issue. I think I bought Bosch plugs from Advance Auto but can't get online to confirm that right now.
Is there a way to test the COPs? Might be something that could help iamgobono and myself.
