DEF errors and power loss

I just purchased a 2012 6.7L with about 71k miles. It has a CEL for P20BD and P20BE which I knew about when I bought it. I've had it for a few days and it runs great with great power, until today. It still runs smooth, but only gets about 15psi of boost and is lacking power. Is it possible for the DEF erros to cause the power loss and any way to verify the correlation? There are no errors displayed on the dash or indications of limp mode, etc.

Continued driving with emissions related codes can caused reduced power and/or eventually lead to limp mode.

take it back and have it corrected, I would not buy it if it has issues.

Could sound like a stupid questions but did check again the codes after the loss of power?
