I had one of those with our short bed truck, it’s a great hitch, heavy though you will probably need 2 strong guys to get it in and out of the truck

My B&W slider got delivered today. I've been sitting here getting familiar with the directions. Obviously the puck covers have to be removed but the directions say the the plastic rings around the mounting holes may also haved to be removed. What is everyone's experience with this? It also appears the pivot arms can be installed in a forward position or aft position. If this is the case which way are you all installing them. For clarity I have an F350 CCSB SRW. Thanks again for all the help.

Plastic rings stay in place (no issue with mine). I mounted the arms in the aft position (angled sides are towards the cab). I have mine at the middle height setting.
