OEM Navigation install issues

I have a 2015 f250 xlt. The truck came stock with a base radio. I ordered a Ford Sync navigation system from eBay it came out of another truck like mine for those wondering yes my xlt model came with the factory option for the same navigation unit but the option was not chosen. I installed the unit a year ago but the navigation never worked it said I'm up north in the middle of nowhere with water around me. I live in the Texas desert. It also will not display the clock. Everything else works fine Sirius XM, FM , AM etc... But I cannot get the Navigation to work which is why I bought it for $2,000 in the first place. I finally decided to get around to setting it up so I took it to both my Ford dealers the first place said my truck didnt come equipped with that radio so it will not work. At the other Ford Dealer they explained that it might need to have a GPS unit installed inside for it to work. After talking with two service employees that actually knew a lot had another guy come over that said he kinda knew what was going on. They took my truck to try to reset it or change settings but couldn't come up with a solution it took them about an hour of messing around with it. Thankfully they didn't end up charging me. Please note my truck does not have the high end dash and different radio that come in the King Ranch model. I'm really hoping somebody here could help me because both my Ford dealers could not. I've lost all hope and I spent a lot of money for my navigation system .

There are a couple of vendors on the web that might be able to help you. One of the is 4d tech.com and the other is infotainment.com.
I have not done business with either but have read good thing about both. I am just too tight to spend the money for the upgrade.
Good luck

I was looking at a '16 at the dealers lot that did not have navigation. I was told that the truck did not come with that option and cannot be added. I was told there was no way to add it at any cost. I bought a different truck because of that.

I did go to infotainment.com and was able to purchase navigation and text to speech module for my wife's '14 Cadillac SRX.

I found this. About $750.00 https://www.infotainment.com/collect...gation-upgrade

I cannot remember but I actually ordered it from Infotainment. It is the Sync 1 navigation. I cannot find the antenna on their site or anywhere else either.

Thanks for the reply I actually ordered from them mine is the Sync 1 but I cannot seem to find the antenna. But I cannot find the antenna to buy for it! I went to one of my ford dealers ( Casa Ford El Paso) and the guy there was busy on Facebook and kinda just pushed me away and said it cant be done and I wasted my money. He was a jerk wont be going back there. So I went to my other Ford dealer and they were very helpful and 3 employees helped me out trying to figure it out. One of the salesmen said he was gonna get a radio upgrade for his f150 from infotainment and heard it could be done. I just need to find the antenna for it and cannot find it anywhere.

If you had/have sat radio, infotainment includes the connector to use it for gps. If not you will need an external antenna
