Cellphones

I'm in the market for a new cell phone. My current one is 9 years old and it's about done for. I would like to go smartphone but I only need the basics. I have an unlimited plan with verizon and would like to stick with it. There the dominant service around here. Wanting to keep the price tag below $250 as I will be buying the phone outright.

I've narrowed it down to some phones I'm interested in.

Samsung J7 (not the smaller version, doesn't work with verizon towers)

Iphone 6 or 6s

Samsung Galaxy Prime

I'm looking for the basics with a few perks, nice graphics, apps etc... Not into gaming, watching movies or anything that's considered heavy use

Part of my job as IT manager for a very large corporation was to manage over 1600 company cell phones. Out of your list, pick the 6s.

Seems alot of things are geared towards iphones as opposed to androids, just an observation

What would your choice of phone be?

I think Iphones are the best overall platform. My wife and I prefer to have the latest greatest model available. But the iphone 6s is a fantastic phone.
