Husky centerline ts 32218 weight distribution hitch

I am thinking about going with this hitch and looking for thoughts/suggestions from anyone who has any experience with it. I can purchase one for about $320 on amazon. This seems like a pretty good deal for this style of hitch. I currently have the old style distribution hitch but it does very little for sway control. My truck is a 2017 f250 4x4 CCSB with the 6.2 and 3.73 gears. My travel trailer is 35' tongue to bumper and weighs around 11,000lbs loaded. I really want to find an affordable option to help eliminate sway.

No experience. However, the TS seems under sized for what you are pulling. My guess is your tongue weight is over the 1,200 lb max. I'd look at the CenterLine HD with the 1,400 lb max rating.

11,000 lbs is actually my gvwr, the camper empty is around 9,000lbs I just figured I would estimate it at 11,000 even if I never get it that heavy. I believe the 12,000lb rating on the hitch would be plenty enough for my application. My trucks towing capacity is only 12,500lbs anyway.

I did actually, I ordered it last week and it arrived yesterday. I will be installing it next week and in mid July we will be taking a Florida vacation which will be 700+ miles round trip so I will update then.

I just returned home from my trip which ended up being about 850 miles round trip. The hitch performed flawlessly and had very little sway. Night and day difference coming from the old chain style distribution hitch which did well as far as weight distribution but did very little for sway control. I am sold on this style of hitch and would highly recommend.

I bought a Husky Centerline TS used from Craigslist but it has the 800lb bars, can I set them looser? I have a camper with about 500lb tongue weight. Anyone want to trade bars?

I have a Husky Centerline, don't remember what the number is, but it works perfectly for me. I have no sway at all pulling my 8500lb trailer with my 2011 250 2wd. Can't imagine doing better than that. Pops a little every once in a while when driving through the campground but I'm good with that, shows it's working.
