Aerostar AWD Dana 28-2 Axle Bearings & Pinion/End Seals
Hello Everyone,
The front axle pinion seal and end seals are leaking pretty good on my Aerostar.
My Aerostar is a 1997, 4.0L AWD XLT which I believe means it has the Dana 28-2 axle in the front.
I'm planning to replace the seals along with the axle shaft bearings while I am in there.
I am getting confused on which end seals and bearings to use.
Thank you in advance!
Ross

Figured It Out
After looking through the manual yet again, I've answered my question above.
To clarify, the E-AWD Aerostar uses the Dana 28-2 front axle (3.73 41x11)
Not to be confused with the Dana 28 or 35 axle.
So the answer to my original question above:
The Dana 28 & 35 passenger side INNER axle shaft oil seal & INNER axle shaft bearing are the same on the passenger AND driver side of the Dana 28-2 axle.
Furthermore, the pinion shaft seal used on the Dana 28 & 35 is the same seal for the Dana 28-2 pinion.
I'll post pictures after I replace these parts.

That's great to have verification. Kudos to you, and to Rock Auto for having great parts cataloging. I recently tried to look up some U-joints from another source because of a discount, and found that they listed the wrong part for my vehicle. Rock Auto had very specific listings, and were correct, so I ordered from them. It turned out even with the discount from the other place, Rock Auto's final price were still lower, for the same part numbers.
