Very interesting in the pics of the engine the Vermillion paint shows a slight orange hue . hue . I watched them mix it & they put about an inch of violet & an inch of orange in the gallon of red ..

Gorgeous truck. Love the vintage fire extinguisher. Would it work if it needed to?

Yes it is Abe .Some guy gave me some crap at a show last Fathers Day about the incorrect locking gas cap (it was a generic one ) so I found 2 NOS optional factory locking gas caps w/ rain flap & bought both of them . . Put one on the Firstride & the other on " Art the hot rod truck .Let me see them critique the gas caps now !!

Traded a complete unmolested '51 Magic Air heater system for the original FORD script fire extinguisher to a man in Pa. . It came w/ the mounting instructions , bracket & correct size screws . After 3 1/2 hrs of wet sanding & polishing it looks as you see it . It is not functional but at least I have one . Have seen them at Daytona in Nov. for nearly $500.00 .
