Transmission cooler line o-ring?, fitting torque?

Replacing my radiator due to coolant leaking from around the transmission cooler fittings, as well as miscellanous other coolant issues. Replaing with a spectra.Upon disconnecting the coolant lines I see an empty groove in each one. It looks like a place an o-ring would go but I am unable to find a definite answer in my hayne book and a forum search. If an o-ring does go in, does anybody know the size? Also, does anybody know the torque to the fitting and to the line itself? Thanks
Jesus the radiator looks chewed up once I removed it.. didn't seem so bad when looking at it from above.
