Not related to EGR, that is the canister purge solenoid that is supposed to be connected to the TB and vapor canister via vacuum lines.

Thanks! Thoughts on reconnecting? The lines are plugged, is it nonessential in your view?

fighting a part throttle buck/ hesitation, have two codes actually: low voltage TPS and low voltage EGR

If the lines aren't connected you will get a vacuum leak at the intake.

Some people disconnect this system when desmogging a vehicle but that is misguided IMO, the system collects fuel vapor from the gas tanks and plumbs it into the engine where it can be used. It's not essential but it's not bad either. If the line between the tank and charcoal canister is broken/rusted this would introduce an air leak when the control valve is opened which could cause some drivability issues, this may explain why it has been disconnected.

A TPS problem could certainly cause that.
