HELP
No one can figure this out. 1999 E-150 had since new stock radio. Had tires put on everything fine, stopped to eat. Started van radio comes on put in D radio goes out put back in P radio stops again. Tries CD plays great put in D it stops display on face still on put back in P CD plays music. Nobody can figure this out one person said bring it by take about 2 weeks to track it down and $1000 yea that is not going to work any help out there

I'll say this :
1) try bypassing the neutral safety switch before buying a new one. chances are if the switch was the problem you would also have starting issues.
2) No way I would pay $1,000 to track down this type of an issue. get another radio at a junk yard for $20. and see if you problem still exisit.
I use to have trouble with my intermitit wipers until I cleaned all my battery connections, then for some reason I still cant explain they started working normal. Just saying....
