According to the book, you have to remove the upper and lower ball joints to get the cv axle out.....Is this entirely true? It looks like if you just unbolt the inner flange, you should be able to swing it out of the way and just pull it out the backside. I have to replace my drivers side because of a slight tear in the boot that ive been fighhting

that what I've seen just the 4 nuts on the hub get removed for 05 like mine and up 04 down is said to be doable also just tighter soot for socket to get at stud nuts.
