We used Never dull in the Navy for polishing the brass on the hand lines on the deck edge. So much faster and nicer than plain old polish. But someone had to buy it because Uncle Sam never gave it to us.

It’s a common problem but the nature of the process is that chrome won’t flow to an interior or concave surface very well so the area you are trying to polish is very thin and the copper or zinc coating under it is showing through. Think about a baby moon hubcap for an example.The front will chrome nicely the back not so.
